Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait posted a negative performance during the week ended on 4 May.
The price index fell by 1.48% or 101.48 points to reach 6,752.79 points this week from 6,854.27 points in the past week.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices dropped 0.85% and 0.47%, respectively.
The market cap lost 0.86% or KWD 240 million during the week to total KWD 27.60 billion ($90.56 billion) from KWD 27.84 billion ($91.34 billion) in the prior week.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 3.26% to KWD 74.1 million from KWD 76.6 million a week ago; the trading volume decreased by 7.10% to 650.72 million shares from 700.44 million; and the number of transactions rose by 6.62% to about 17,140 from nearly 16,080 in the past week.
