Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait gained 0.23% or 15.9 points to close Wednesday’s session at 6,794.52 points.
The weighted index edged up 0.01%, while the Kuwait-15 index remained unchanged from the previous session at 923.22 points.
The technology segment topped gainers with 8.76%, backed by Osos which rose 11.48%.
Meanwhile, the banks sector led three decliners with 0.15%, dragged by Warba and NBK which lost 2.23% and 0.15%, respectively.
The market’s turnover shrank to about KWD 13.85 million on Wednesday from KWD 15.49 million in the previous session, while the trading volume grew to 99.75 million shares from 99.57 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 14.7 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 2.46 million, falling 1.18%.
