Mubasher: The market cap registered during the week ended on 5 October at Boursa Kuwait totalled KWD 29.84 billion ($99 billion, gaining about KWD 60 million on a daily basis, compared to KWD 29.35 billion in the previous week.
The market cap increased by 1.7% or KWD 490 million this week, after the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) Russel has promoted Boursa Kuwait to an emerging market.
Since the beginning of 2017, Boursa Kuwait registered a gain of KWD 3.58 billion market cap compared to KWD 26.26 billion in the end of 2016.
The lowest market cap level was on 2 January when the market registered KWD 26.27 billion, while the highest level was reported on 17 September when the market cap totalled KWD 30.35 billion.
