Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait announced that it has joined the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) as an official member.
The CEO of Boursa Kuwait, Khaled Al-Khaled said that the move is a great success for the Company and the history of Kuwaiti stock market, adding that it is a step on the right path and sought after goals, according to a statement by the Kuwaiti stock exchange on Saturday.
Al Khaled also indicated that IOSCO is an international body that brings together the world's securities regulators and is recognized as the global standard setter for the securities sector, as cited by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
