Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait indices declined started Wednesday in the red after the price index dropped 0.24% or 15.6 points to 6,614.51 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices inched down 0.22% and 0.17%, respectively.
By 9:49 am Kuwait time, the healthcare sector decreased 3.2%, while telecommunications sector fell 2.05% after Kuwait Telecommunication Co’s (Viva) stock tumbled 4.14%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector edged up 0.18% as Real Estate Trade Centers’ (Marakez) stock increased 5.5%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 24.04 million shares, through 900 transactions, with a liquidity of KWD 1.63 million.
Gulf Petroleum Investment’s (PetroGulf) stock, up 0.28%, led the bourse in terms of traded volume after six million shares were exchanged, with a turnover of KWD 215,640.
