Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.48% or 30.7 points to 6,311.91 points by 9:43am Kuwait time on Monday.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.11% and 0.07%, respectively.
The oil and gas segment led decliners with 3.2%, dragged by Senergy which lost 16.7%.
The industrial sector went down 1.07% in line with UPAC which retreated by 16.9% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the banks and financial services segments were the only gainers with 0.38% and 0.06%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to nearly 975,200 after 11.9 million shares were exchanged through 431 transactions.
Human Soft posted the highest trading value of about KWD 238,200.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 6 million shares were traded.
