Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session in negative territory, pressured by the fall of six sectors.
The main, All-Share and Premier markets went down 0.14%, 0.13% and 0.11%, respectively.
By 9:30 am Kuwait time, Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 8.59 million after the trading volume stood at 49.08 million shares exchanged through 1,260 transactions.
The banking sector topped decliners after falling 0.11%, while the oil and gas sector headed risers with 0.84%.
Aayan Leasing and Investment’s stock, which rose 3%, led the bourse in terms of trading volume with 16.39 million shares, while Kuwait Financial House’s stock, which plunged 1%, spearheaded the market in terms of liquidity with KWD 4.52 million shares.
