Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session in red territory after the All-Share, Main and Premier markets inched down 0.09%, 0.05%, and 0.1%, respectively.
By 9:11 am Kuwaiti time, the telecommunications sector led losers with 0.32%, while the industrials sector was the best performer with 0.15%.
Kuwait Remal Real Estate’s stock topped losers with 2.4%, while the stock of Gulf Cement Company led gainers after jumping 8.3%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 16.2 million shares exchanged through 535 transactions at a turnover of KWD 3.2 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, which remained stable at 920 fils, led the bourse in terms of liquidity with KWD 853,000, while Al Aman Investment’s stock, which inched up 0.16%, generated the highest trading volume with 2.04 million shares.
