Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a grouped rise; the price index went up 0.13% or 8.8 points to reach 6,631.05 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.2% and 0.23%, respectively.
By 10:07am Kuwait time, the real estate segment topped gainers with a rise of 0.59%, backed by Alargan International Real Estate which went up 19.4% to be the top winner.
The banks sector levelled up 0.23%, in line with the 1.17% rise of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) to 603 fils, following the disclosure of its income statements of the third quarter.
Zain edged up 0.4%, pushing the telecom segment to advance 0.1%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector led three decliners with a fall of 0.45%, dragged by Human Soft Holding which lost 1.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity stood at KWD 4.44 million after 19 million shares were exchanged through 775 transactions.
Zain recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.02 million.
