Kuwait - Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session higher, on the back of eight sectors in green.
By 9:30 am Kuwait time, the price index levelled up 0.75% or 48.91 points to reach 6,613.98 points, the weighted index rose by 0.58%, and the Kuwait-15 index gained 0.88%.
The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 2.96 million, after 33.66 million shares were exchanged through 949 transactions.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 2.03%, on the back of Senergy which rose by 5.26%.
Meanwhile, both the healthcare and consumer goods segments declined by 0.29% and 0.14%, respectively.
Taameer was the most active stock on which 3.16 million shares were traded, up by 2.78%.
Rising by 1.04%, KFH recorded the highest turnover of about KWD 521,040.
