Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a massive rise; the benchmark price index went up 11.5 points, or 0.17%, to 6,779.04 points.
By 9:34 am Kuwait time, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices edged up 0.001% and 0.05%, respectively.
Technology companies topped gainers with 5.27%, backed by Automated Systems which added 18.34% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the telecom companies led decliners with 0.27%, dragged by Ooredoo and Zain which lost 1.54% and 0.21%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 860,000 after 10.32 million shares were exchanged through 415 transactions.
Al Imtiaz posted the highest liquidity of about KWD 195,000. The stock reached 141 fils.
Investors was the most active stock on which 2 million shares were traded. The stock went up 2%.
