Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading activities with a positive performance after the All-Share Market index inched up 0.14%, followed by the Main and Premier markets with 0.08% and 0.17%, respectively.
By 9:15 am Kuwait time, the industrials sector led risers with 0.24%, while the telecommunications sector was the worst performer with 0.15%.
Kuwait Foundry’s stock topped gainers with 6.7%, while Al Madina for Finance and Investment’s stock led losers with 4.8%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 20 million shares exchanged through 580 transactions with a turnover of KWD 3.22 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, which added 0.57%, led the bourse in terms of trading value with a turnover of KWD 1.1 million, while Gulf Petroleum Investment’s (PetroGulf) stock, whihc dipped 0.99%, posted the highest trading volume with 5.3 million shares.
