Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait dropped collectively early Monday, as the price index opened the session 0.09% or 5.8 points down to 6.462.26 points.
By 9:35 am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices slipped 0.12% and 0.37%, respectively.
On the other hand, the communication sector edged up 0.82% on the back of Ooredoo and Viva which rose 4.78% and 0.13%, respectively.
Metal and Recycling led declining blue chips with a 10.9% drop, while Credit Rating and Collection (Tahssilat) topped rising leading stocks with a 14.5% growth.
Trading volume stood at 20.8 million shares exchanged through 848 transactions at a turnover of KWD 5.4 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFIN), down 0.88%, was the most active stock in terms of liquidity, while about 3.3 million shares were traded on Munshaat which added 0.92%.
