Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a grouped decline; the price index edged down 0.22% or 14.94 points to reach 6,727.08 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.37% and 0.70%, respectively.
By 9:40am Kuwait time, turnover stood at KWD 7.5 million after 97.8 million shares were exchanged through nearly 1,900 transactions.
The oil and gas sector led seven decliners with a fall of 2.27%, dragged by Napesco which retreated by 4.9%.
Meanwhile, the technology segment topped four gainers with 1.09%, on the back of Automated Systems that rose by 3.39%.
Equipment Holding was the top winner with a gain of 9.43%, while UPAC headed the losers with a fall of 5.43%.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 23.3 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 1.1 million.
