Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a massive decline.
By 9:47 am Kuwait time, the benchmark price index edged down 9.1 points, or 0.13%, to 6,748.39 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.07% or 0.1%, respectively.
Telecom companies led decliners with 1.15%, dragged by Viva and Zain which lost 2.6% and 0.21%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the healthcare sector topped gainers with 2.03%, backed by Yiaco Medical which added 9.23%.
Sultan Center led losers with 20%, while Marakez headed the winners with 20%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 2 million after 10.1 million shares were traded through 580 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest trading value of about KWD 590,500. The stock reached 591 fils.
Sultan Center was the most active stock on which 1.46 million shares were exchanged.
