Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a massive decrease as the All-Share Market index shed 0.22%, followed by the Premier Market index with 0.04%, and the Main Market index fell 0.49%.
By 9:27 am Kuwait time, the financial services sector led losers with 0.36%, while the oil and gas sector led risers with 0.17%.
National Industries Group Holding’s stock was the worst performer with 6.9%, while Boubyan International Industries Holding’s stock was the best performer after gaining 15.4%.
The bourse saw trading of 18.5 million shares exchanged through 705 transactions at a turnover of KWD 1.8 million.
Warba Bank’s stock, which dipped 0.47%, led the market in terms of traded value with KWD 262,700, while Gulf Petroleum Investment’s (PetroGulf) stock, which hiked 1.35%, generated the highest trading volume with 8.4 million shares.
