Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a grouped decline.
The price index levelled down 0.78% or 54.71 points to reach 6,966.66 points by 9:55am Kuwait time, the weighted index lost 0.38%, and Kuwait-15 retreated 0.37%.
The industrial segment led seven decliners with 1.97%, dragged by National Consumer Holding which lost 8.3% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the basic materials and insurance sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 0.70% and 0.41%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity amounted to KWD 7.2 million, after 96.7 million shares were traded through about 1,900 transactions.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 27.9 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.5 million.
