Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session in the red zone; the price index fell by 0.51% or 35.71 points to reach 6,933.78 points by 9:35am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.30% and 0.23%, respectively.
The real estate sector led the decliners with 1.78%, dragged by REAM which lost 14.3% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas segment gained 0.41%, on the back of Napesco which rose by 1.67%. The consumer services sector levelled up by 0.24%, endorsed by the 5.5% growth of IFA Hotels.
The market’s trading value stood at KWD 6.4 million, after 62.3 million shares were traded through about 1,200 transactions.
Remal was the most active stock on which 6.05 million shares were exchanged, falling by 1.27%.
REAM recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.5 million.
