Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a mixed performance after the Main Market index inched up 0.09%, while the All-Share Market index and the Premier Market index shed 0.06% and 0.13%, respectively.
By 9:40 am Kuwait time, the consumer goods sector topped risers with 0.84%, while the real estate sector was the worst performer with 0.54%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume hit 25.9 million shares exchanged through 1,145 transactions at a turnover of KWD 4.05 million.
Yiaco Medical’s stock was the best performer after gaining 9.26%, while the stock of Osoul Investment led losers with 8.4%.
Mobile Telecommunications’ (Zain) stock, down 0.21%, generated the highest liquidity with KWD 806,900, while Taameer Real Estate Investment’s stock, which grew 1.4%, topped the bourse in terms of trading volume after 3.23 million shares were exchanged.
