Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session in green territory after the Premier Market index rose 0.16%, followed by the All-Share Market index with 0.11%, and the Main Market index with 0.01%.
By 9:30 am Kuwait time, the bourse saw trading of 5.4 million shares exchanged through 295 transactions at a turnover of KWD 903,800.
The consumer goods sector was the best performer with 1.37%, whereas the real estate sector shed 0.05%.
Danah Al Safat Foodstuff’s stock led gainers with 5%, while Al Mudon International Real Estate’s (Al Mudon) stock was the worst performer with 9.74%.
Abyaar Real Estate Development’s stock, which added 2.50%, was the most active in terms of traded volume after 1.3 million shares were exchanged, while the Kuwaiti telecom company Zain’s stock, which advanced 0.46%, was the most active in terms of liquidity with KWD 224,500.
