Mubasher: The All-Share Market index added 0.13% in early Sunday, while both the Premier and Main indices gained 0.09% and 0.22%, respectively.
By 9:30 am Kuwait time, the turnover reached KWD 3.31 million after 12.7 million shares were exchanged through 813 transactions.
Sunday’s session is considered very important as it will determine the performance of Boursa Kuwait in the coming period; the stock market will continue to rise if the indices succeed in breaking the resistance level or a downward performance will be witnessed if the support levels are re-reached, capital market analyst Nawaf Al Oun told Mubasher on Sunday.
Arabi Group was the top winner with a rise of 10%, while Alrai led the losers with a decline of 10%.
Zain was the most active stock on which 2.62 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.26 million, the stock went up 1.06%.
