Kuwait - Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session in the green zone; the price index gained 0.17% or 1.92 points to reach 6,852.35 points, the weighted index rose 0.61%, and the Kuwait-15 index levelled up by 0.85%.
By 9:50 am Kuwait time, the telecom segment topped seven gainers with 1.2%, on the back of Viva which rose 2.44%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector led decliners with 3.2%, dragged by Napesco which fell by 6.41% to be the top loser.
The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 5.42 million, after 60.7 million shares were exchanged through nearly 1,100 transactions.
Remal was the most active stock on which 16.6 million shares were traded at the highest value of KWD 1.2 million, falling 2.74%.
