Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session 0.05% or 3.71 points higher to reach 6,901.13 points.
Similarly, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.41% and 0.69%, respectively.
By 9:27am Kuwait time, the financial services segment topped four gainers with 0.33%, backed by Amwal which gained 3.25%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector led four decliners with 0.32%, dragged by Napesco which fell by 0.6%.
Jiyad Holding Co was the top winner with a rise of 12.8%, while Boubyan International Holding led losers with 7.02%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity amounted to KWD 4.93 million, as the trading volume reached 17.81 million shares which were traded through 646 transactions.
Zain was the most active stock on which 2.21 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 1.11 million, rising by 0.8% to 502 fils.
