Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session 1.12% or 70.6 points higher to reach 6,402.34 points by 9:27am Kuwait time.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.27% and 0.05%, respectively.
The industrial segment topped gainers with 3.14%, backed by Nafais which jumped 20%.
The banks sector also levelled up 0.81% in line with the 3.65% growth of Ithmaar.
Meanwhile, the telecom segment was the only decliner with 0.82%, dragged by Aan and Zain which lost 4.68% and 1.14%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity amounted to KWD 2.5 million after 14.61 million shares were traded through 562 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest turnover of nearly KWD 910,500.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 2.21 million shares were exchanged.
