Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait opened Sunday’s trading session in the green territory on the back of the rising blue-chips stocks.
By 9:42 am Kuwait time, the All-Share Market index added 0.12%, while the Main and Premier Market indices inched up 0.08% and 0.14%, respectively.
The financial services sector led gainers with an increase of 1%, followed by the real estate sector that edged up by 0.44%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector headed losers with a drop of 0.72%.
Tijara and Real Estate Investment’s stock topped winners with an increase of 9%, while Al Deera Holding’s stock, plunging 25.4%, headed the declining blue chips.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity stood at KWD 8.6 million early Sunday after seeing a trading volume of 58 million shares were exchanged through 1,820 transactions.
Gulf Bank of Kuwait, up 0.32%, was the most active stock in terms of liquidity, achieving a turnover of KWD 1.13 million.
