Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session in decline; the benchmark price index retreated 0.68% or 42.6 points to reach 6,215.87 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.87% and 0.95%, respectively.
By 9:30am Kuwait time, the basic materials segment led decliners, followed by the banks sector which fell by 1.5% as it was dragged by nine shares led by Ithmaar which dropped 6.15%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector was the only gainer with a rise of 0.06%, backed by Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport (KGL) which rose by 11.4% to be the top winner.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 3 million after 16.3 million shares were exchanged through 735 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.36 million, down 0.74%.
Investors was the most active stock on which 3.52 million shares were traded, rising 1.85%.
