Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with a decline; the price index edged down 0.57% or 39.94 points to 6,712.85 points, the weighted index levelled down 0.69%, and the Kuwait-15 index fell by 0.81%.
By 9:45 am Kuwait time, the market’s trading value stood at KWD 4.5 million, after 39.4 million shares were exchanged at a value of about 1,040 transactions.
The telecom segment led decliners with 1.94%, dragged by Hits Telecom which lost 2.3%.
Meanwhile, the technology sector topped three gainers with 2%, on the back of Automated Systems which rose by 6.85% to be the top winner.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 5 million shares were traded, falling by 2%.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.7 million, down by 2.02%.
