Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session with a massive decline; the benchmark price index edged down 9.7 points, or 0.14%, to 6,763.17 points.
By 9:30am Kuwait, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.23% and 0.32%, respectively.
Telecom companies led decliners with 2.15%, dragged by Viva and Zain which lost 4% and 1.3%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector topped gainers with 0.34%, backed by KGL which rose by 15% to be the top winner.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 2.4 million after 20.4 million shares were exchanged through 640 transactions.
KGL Logistics was the most active stock on which 8.3 million shares were traded at a value of about KWD 442,400. The stock added 7.14%.
