Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s session with a massive decrease, as the All-Share Market index went down 0.42% or 20.18 points to 4,811.69 points.
By 10am Kuwait time, the indices of both the Premier Market and the Main Market retreated by 0.63% and 0.05%, respectively.
The consumer services segment led decliners with 0.78% in line with the 10% drop of Muntazahat to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped the gainers with 0.8%, backed by Energy House which added 9.7%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value amounted to KWD 2.9 million after 12.3 million shares were exchanged through 670 transactions.
Boubyan Petrochemical posted the highest turnover of about KWD 893,600. The stock gained 1.7%.
Abyaar Real Estate was the most active stock on which 984,000 shares were exchanged. The stock fell by 3.54%.
