Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session 0.1% or 6.5 points higher at 6,830.48 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.06% and 0.08%, respectively.
By 9:42 am Kuwait time, the market’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.53 million after 12.02 million shares were traded through 396 transactions.
The financial services segment topped gainers with 0.6%, backed by Kuwait Investment which rose by 17.3% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector led decliners with 0.73%, dragged by First Takaful which lost 6.5%.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 3.6 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 587,330.
