Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session 1.02%,or 63.6 points, higher, reaching 6,301.49 points by 9:50am Kuwait time.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.39% and 0.35%, respectively.
Listed banks went up 0.55%, backed by Kuwait International Bank (KIB) which added 1.35%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods and consumer services sectors were the only decliners with 0.22% and 0.01%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 3.13 million after 2.08 million shares were traded through 835 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of around KWD 614,200.
Abyaar Real Estate was the most active stock on which 5.8 million shares were exchanged, rising 1.9%.
