Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.44% or 29.59 points to close Thursday's session at 6,702.48 points, as the weighted index lost 0.42%, and the Kuwait-15 index retreated by 0.33%.
By 9:55 am Kuwait time, the industrial sector led seven decliners with 0.94%, dragged by Human Soft which fell by 2.51%.
Meanwhile, the oil segment was the only gainer with a rise of 0.56%, on the back of Maritime which went up 3.17%.
Osos was the top loser with 7.25%, while Safat Global headed winners with 7.14%.
The market’s turnover amounted to KWD 4.7 million, after 68.2 million shares were traded through approximately 1,500 transactions.
Taameer was the most active stock on which 10.5 million shares were exchanged.
Al Imtiaz recorded the highest turnover of about KWD 899,100.
