Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session 0.65% or 44.4 points lower to reach 6,801.4 points.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices also retreated by 0.07% and 0.11%, respectively, by 9:58am Kuwait time.
The oil and gas segment led decliners with 2.65%, dragged by Napesco which lost 5.26%.
Meanwhile, the health care sector topped gainers with 0.33%, backed by Yiaco which rose by 2.86%.
Metal and Recycling was the top loser with a fall of 14.41%, while Tamdeen Investment topped the winners with a growth of 4.2%.
The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 3.88 million after 34.74 million shares were traded through 1,005 transactions.
Zain recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.11 million, rising 0.66%.
