Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait saw massive growth during Thursday’s early trading activities as the All-Share Market index inched up 0.09%, followed by the Main Market index with 0.02%, and the Premier Market index went up 0.11%.
By 9:25 am Kuwait time, the oil and gas sector led gainers after growing 1.01%, followed by the telecommunication sector with 0.34%, and the banks sector levelled up 0.12%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector was the worst performer after losing 0.17%, followed by the consumer goods sector with 0.16%, and basic materials sector edged down 0.1%.
Senergy Holding Company’s stock was the best performer after increasing 7.64%, while the stock of Kuwait Cement was the worst performer with 3.44%.
The bourse saw trading of 47 million shares, through 1,120 transactions, with a turnover of KWD 4.31 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, up 0.36%, led in terms of trading value after generating KWD 1.14 million, while Aayan Leasing and Investment’s stock, up 1.03%, topped in terms of traded volume through 12.16 million exchanged shares.
