Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session 0.08% or 4.9 points lower at 6,365.34 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled down 0.09% and 0.11%, respectively.
By 9:37am Kuwait time, the oil and gas segment led decliners with 1.7%, dragged by IPG which lost 7.32% to head the losers.
The telecom sector edged down 0.66% in line with the 1.75% decline of Ooredoo.
Meanwhile, the basic materials topped gainers with 0.45%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.61 million after 13.4 million shares were exchanged through 551 transactions.
Zain posted the highest turnover of nearly KWD 605,200.
Ajwan was the most active stock on which 2.72 million shares were traded, rising 2.92%.
