Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session higher, backed by the rise of seven sectors.
The price index went up 0.09% or 6.04 points to reach 6,571.26 points by 9:35 am Kuwait time, the weighted index gained 0.17%, and the Kuwait-15 index levelled up 0.25%.
The oil segment topped gainers with 4.53%, backed by Contracting and Marine Services which jumped 20% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector led three decliners with 4.99%, dragged by Eyas which lost 18.93% to be the top loser.
The market’s turnover stood at about KWD 663,410 after 4.71 million shares were exchanged through 310 transctions.
Al Ithmaar was the most active stock on which approximately 551,000 shares were traded.
KFH posted the highest trading value of around KWD 429,430.
