Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with a massive increase after the All-Share Market index rose 0.1%, while the Main Market index added 0.05%, and the Premier Market index grew by 0.13%.
By 9:25 am Kuwait time, the basic materials sector led risers with 0.73%, while the insurance sector inched down 0.26%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 6.3 million shares exchanged through 305 transactions at a turnover of KWD 918,300.
Manazel Holding’s stock was the best performer after growing 8.57%, whereas First Takaful Insurance’s stock was the worst performer with 10%.
Qurain Petrochemical Industries’ stock, which gained 1.8%, was the most active in terms of traded value after generating a turnover of KWD 173,900, while Investors Holding Group’s stock, which stabilised at 12.2 fils, was the most active in terms of trading volume after 1.64 million were exchanged.
