Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.29% or 20.51 points to reach 7,011.75 points by 10:05am Kuwait time on Tuesday.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.63% and 0.76%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity amounted to KWD 5.23 million, after 58.8 million shares were traded through nearly 1,500 transactions.
The oil and gas sector led decliners with 0.92%, dragged by Senergy which fell 5.21%.
Meanwhile, the financial services segment gained 0.08%, on the back of Arabi Holding which rose by 5.88%.
Kuwait Real Estate was the most active stock on which 8.74 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 607,100.
