Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait retreated 0.72% or 50.14 points to reach 6,876.89 points by 9:20am Kuwait time on Tuesday.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 1.25% and 1.31%, respectively.
The telecom segment led decliners with 1.5%, dragged by Ooredoo which lost 6%.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector was the only gainer with a rise of 0.04%, backed by Alrai which gained 1.63%.
National Industries was the top loser with a decline of 13.6%, while Noor topped winners with 3.2%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity stood at KWD 8.23 million after the trading volume reached 27.21 million shares which were traded through 785 transactions.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.8 million.
AUB Bahrain was the most active stock on which 5.6 million shares were traded, falling 1.35%.
