Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session in decline as the All-Share Market index shed 0.24%, while the Main Market index inched down 0.01%, and the Premier Market index went down 0.35%.
By 9:40 am Kuwait time, the telecommunications sector led losers with 0.53%, while the basic materials sector slid 0.34%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume hit 16.3 million shares exchanged through 750 transactions at a turnover of KWD 3.6 million.
Al Deera Holding’s stock was the worst performer with 6.83%, while Boubyan International Industries Holding’s stock topped gainers with 7.5%.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which remained unchanged at 616 fils, generated the highest liquidity with KWD 569,000, while Gulf Petroleum Investment’s (PetroGulf) stock, up 1.04%, was the most active in terms of trading volume after 4.05 million shares were exchanged.
