Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session on a mixed note as the Main Market index edged up 0.19%, while the All-Share Market and the Premier Market inched down 0.12% and 0.04%, respectively.
By 09:30 Kuwait time, the banking sector topped rising sectors with a 0.23% increase, while the insurance sector led top losers with a 1.19% decline.
Meanwhile, Hilal Cement’s stock led top gainers with 10%, and Mena Real Estate headed declining stocks with 26.75%.
Trading volume on Boursa Kuwait reached 7.9 million shares exchanged through 453 transactions with a turnover of KWD 1.6 million.
Sultan Center Food’s stock, up 4.79%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 803,100 shares, while Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding’s (SHIP) stock, which added 1.95%, led the bourse in terms of liquidity with KWD 223,600.
