Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session in red territory after the All-Share Market index shed 0.03%, while the Main Market and Premier markets inched down 0.01% and 0.04%, respectively.
By 9:40 am Kuwait time, the basic materials sector led losers with 0.82%, while the telecommunications sector topped gainers with 0.42%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 35.8 million shares exchanged through 1,170 transactions at a turnover of KWD 5.9 million.
Sanam Real Estate’s stock was the worst performer after sliding 9.9%, while the stock of Al Masaken International Real Estate Development was the best performer with 6.3%.
The Gulf Bank of Kuwait’s (GBK) stock, which added 1.09%, led Boursa Kuwait in terms of volume and value after 11.2 million shares were exchanged with a turnover of KWD 3.04 million.
