Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait opened Tuesday’s trading session in the green after the All-Share Market index inched up 0.14%, followed by the Premier and Main markets with 0.08% and 0.29%, respectively.
By 9:20 am Kuwait time, the financial services sector led gainers with 0.93%, followed by the industrials sector with 0.6%.
On the flipside, the telecommunications sector shed 0.33%.
Hilal Cement’s stock topped risers with 15.38%, while the stock of Al Deera Holding was the worst performer with 10.56%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 17.5 million shares exchanged through 525 transactions with a turnover of KWD 1.9 million.
The Gulf Bank of Kuwait’s (GBK) stock, which dipped1.04%, led the bourse in terms of liquidity with KWD 504,400, while Aayan Leasing and Investment’s stock, which added 1.41%, generated the highest traded volume after 5.31 million shares were exchanged.
