Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone; the price index rose by 0.21% or 14.98 points to reach 6,740.28 points, the weighted index gained 0.31%, and the Kuwait-15 index levelled up 0.50%.
By 9:55 am Kuwait time, the market’s turnover amounted to KWD 7.4 million, after 91.8 million shares were traded through about 1,800 transactions.
The real estate segment topped gainers with a rise of 0.65%, on the back of Sokouk Holding which levelled up by 8% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector led decliners with 1.76%, dragged by IPG which lost 6.76% to be the top loser.
Sokouk was the most active stock on which 13.5 million shares were exchanged.
NBK recorded the highest liquidity of nearly KWD 701,300.
