Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session 0.2% or 1.33 points lower to reach 6,419.31 points.
By 9:44am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.07% and 0.03%, respectively.
The Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.6 million after 8.6 million shares were exchanged through 576 transactions.
The Oil sector led four decliners with 0.34%, dragged by Senergy which lost 2.86%.
Financial services segment edged down 0.05% in line with the 3.23% drop of Arzan.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped four gainers with 0.09%, backed by Al Mudon International's 13.69% rise.
The banking segment added 0.04%, backed by AUB and KIB which gained 0.49%.
Metal and Recycling led losers with 7.88%, while Afaq was the top gainer with 19.48%.
Ajwan, 3.50% up, was the most active stock on which 2.1 million shares were traded.
Zain posted the highest turnover of nearly KWD 509,300.
