Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session in decline; the benchmark price index retreated 0.28% or 18.7 points to reach 6,605.81 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices dropped 0.13% and 0.11%, respectively.
By 9:47am Kuwait time, the financial services segment led six decliners with 0.7%, dragged by Tahssilat which lost 11.44%.
The industrial sector also levelled down 0.33%, in line with the 11.5% drop of KGL Logistics.
Meanwhile, telecom companies were the only gainer with 0.11%, backed by Aan which rose by 1.33%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover stood at KWD 4.3 million after 35.5 million shares were exchanged through 1,145 transactions.
The Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) was the most active stock on which 6.92 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 1.65 million.
