Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday with a mixed performance after the Premier Market index inched up 0.09%, whereas the All-Share Market index shed 0.02%, and the Main Market index edged down 0.19%.
By 9:15 am Kuwait time, the real estate sector led gainers with 1.08%, while the oil and gas sector was the worst performer with 1.13%.
The bourse saw trading of 24 million shares exchanged through 725 transactions at a turnover of KWD 3.3 million.
International Financial Advisors’ (IFA) stock was the best performer with 9.75%, while Gulf Cement Co’s stock was the worst performer after dropping 10%.
Gulf Bank of Kuwait’s (GBK) stock, up 0.39%, was the most active in terms of trading value after generating KWD 916,000, while Kuwait Real Estate’s stock, which added 2%, led in terms of traded volume after 4.43 million shares were exchanged.
