Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance after the Premier Market index inched up 0.05%, while the All-Share and Main markets edged down 0.02% and 0.16%, respectively.
By 9:30 am Kuwait time, the consumer goods sector led risers with 1.45%, while the telecommunications sector was the worst performer with 0.91%.
Aayan Real Estate’s stock topped gainers with 3.7%, while the stock of Al Deera Holding led losers with 3.6%.
The bourse’s trading volume hit 25.6 million shares exchanged through 840 transactions at a turnover of KWD 3.82 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, which added 0.45%, led the market in terms of liquidity with KWD 1.88 million, while Al Madina for Finance and Investment’s stock, which grew 0.77%, posted the highest trading volume after 7.58 million shares were exchanged.
