Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with mixed performance by 9:40am Kuwait time.
The price index edged up by 0.05% or 3.05 points to reach 5,670.80 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices fell by 0.17% and 0.37% respectively.
Bourse Kuwait’s liquidity amounted to KWD 4.51 million, after 28.8 million shares were traded through 716 transactions.
The oil and gas sector rose by 0.36%, on the back of Marine Services which gained 2.56%.
The banks segment also levelled up by 0.21% in line with the 1.67% rise of Burgan Bank.
Al Masaken International Real Estate was the top winner with a growth of 6.90%.
Meanwhile, the financial services segment was the only decliner with a fall of 0.20%, dragged by Arabi Group which lost 5.36% to be the top loser.
AL Salam was the most active stock on which 4.46 million shares were exchanged.
NBK recorded the highest trading value amounted to nearly KWD 866,490.
