Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered positive performance during the week ended on 5 July in line with an improvement in trading activity.
The All-Share Market added 4.03% or 197 points to reach 5,087.64 points this week from 4,890.44 points in the previous week.
The Premier Market gained 5.62% or 275.6 points to 5,180.4 points from 4,904.82 points.
Similarly, the Main Market index went up 1.14% or 66.7 points to 4,919.16 points from 4,863.51 points.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value grew by 44.3% to KWD 130.2 million this week from KWD 90.23 million in the past week.
The trading volume increased by 38% to 574.99 million shares from 416.75 million.
The number of transactions went up 40.3% to around 24,530 this week from nearly 17,480 a week ago.
